and global partnerships o;cer, the o;ce serves as the key point of contact for connecting
Purdue researchers to the rest of the world. Geanie Umberger, assistant vice president for
research, manages industrial relationships, organizing networking events such as the biannual Lilly Days.
Purdue Partners: This initiative, which will launch in 2015, will create campus teams
focused on each of our strategic corporate partners with the goal of rapidly growing
education and research collaboration and funding. Each team will have an academic lead
and a managing director who will jointly serve as 1) the convergence points for partnership strategy and
